Ministries

Evangelism:

To follow the mandate to go and seek the unsaved and bring them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Christian Education:

At "The Oak" we use Christian Education as an interactive and intimate way of gaining a deeper understanding of Gods plan for our life and develop us to Christ-like maturity. Education helps the believer to better handle life by becoming more spiritually mature. This ongoing effort of education is aimed to enlighten and empower the believer so that they might grow to become more like Christ.

Youth:

The purpose of the Round Oak Youth Ministry is to share the message and ministry of Jesus Christ in relevant ways which results in young souls being saved, transformed, and filled with the Holy Spirit. The Youth ministry is comprised of the Childrens Ministry (Ages 0-11) and the Youth Ministry (Ages 12-17). We seek to worship, evangelize, preach, and teach using age appropriate, culturally relevant, and doctrinally sound methods. We are unashamed believers in the gospel of Jesus Christ, and purpose to be bold in spreading this good news. Every 4th Sunday is Youth-Emphasis Sunday. Every Sunday at 9:30am, we have Youth Sunday School.

Fellowship:

We're about celebrating relationships - with family, with others and with God! You're invited to join us for fun and fellowship. A variety of activities will be scheduled throughout the year.

Worship:

To worship the Lord through musical, verbal & technical abilities, with willing hearts, and servant spirits. We promote purity of worship that penetrates every aspect of life, including work, home, and family. Come for a spirit filled worship service on Sundays.

Young Adults:

The Young Adult Ministry (18-35 yrs) is a dedicated group of believers who are faithfully seeking a closer relationship with Jesus. Our diverse group of Round Oak members includes young professionals, singles, college students, married couples, and single parents from the DC Metro Area. While we are a brand new ministry we are excited about what God has in store for us, and would love for you to come along for the ride as we discover together what it means to be a young Christian in the 21st century. Every 3rd Sunday is Young Adult-Emphasis Sunday.
